Do you ever look around your house and think, how did this happen?
Somehow I ended up with [insert your details here, mine are…] 2 kids, 2 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 adults all coexisting under one roof. I clearly have a problem with saying yes to things.
But here’s the thing—this chaos? It’s ours. And while it is overwhelming, it’s also full of heart. Every day brings something new. Whether it’s an impromptu living room dance-off, a game of Mario Cart that turns into a trash-talking, smackdown marathon, or one of the kids finding a “creative” way to organize the pantry (trust me, it’s never that creative), it’s always a ride.
I’ve learned a lot from this bustling life. Mostly, I’ve learned that it’s okay not to have it all figured out. There’s no manual for handling kids, pets, and partners all at once—only patience, coffee, and a sense of humor. I’ve definitely had those days where I’ve locked myself in the bathroom just for a moment of peace, only to hear, “Mom, will you make me ramen?”
So, to all the moms (and dads) out there: I see you. I feel you. You’re not alone in the whirlwind. There will be days when everything is falling apart, and others when we’ll feel like superwoman. The important thing is, we’ve got each other to lean on when the going gets tough. We’ve got to stick together to survive.
Welcome to my life on display—messy, loud, full of love, and 100% real.
